Each one of our Viking rune rings is meticulously hand carved to feature a rune from the Elder or Younger Futhark. The Algiz rune is a standout piece in our collection. We sand cast each rune ring, pouring molten silver into a carefully prepared mould to achieve this characteristic, ancient finish. After work is completed on the sand cast piece, we move on to the Keum boo stage. This is the point at which the 24ct gold is fused onto the Rune. This way, we achieve a stark contrast that allows the design to truly shine. Finally, we cover the entire piece in a dark and rich patina for a worn and antique look, making the gold stand out even further.<\/p>\n
